Working and living in Barnstaple, in beautiful North Devon, I’ve done part-time freelance design work for well over twenty years, but it’s only since getting my BA (Hons) in 2009 that I’ve committed myself to full time design work. I’m in the fortunate position of working full time as an in house designer for Golden Coast ltd, a local company of 35 years.

My day job is great and as one of two designers at the company, quite varied, designing for both print and web. My job has me administering and designing for the company’s seven websites, designing various brochures flyers and promotional material as well as ads for Industry press. I also design graphics and displays for exhibitions and industry shows.

As well as the 9 to 5 I also undertake freelance design working with individuals or  small companies, who may be starting out or can’t afford having work done by some of the larger design agencies in the area.
